This is our favorite breakfast spot. The food is always on point, with easily the best biscuits with sausage gravy around! Although they have a lot of newer faces on staff, they still retain several of the familiar wait staff that always provide a welcoming attitude. We are here usually once a weekend and always feel good when we leave. Prices are appropriate, also.
Take a trip back in time to Norma’s Diner is just that. Amazing food and the service is outstanding! The interior decor is old school diner! The booths are Texas flag decorated. The chicken friend steak is one of the best in Texas!! Homemade biscuits and huge portions!! Inside tip... you can order just one pancake for the lighter appetites. Save room for dessert as the cream pies are HUGE!
We picked this randomly. I saw it had chicken and dressing so wanted to try it. It was delicious. It was also reasonable for the amount of food you get. Everything was great, service was great. The pie was great. Three people in my party and we were all happy with our food.
Food was excellent. Famous for their biscuits! Our family has the western omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. The migas breakfast and also had the CBGB which is a shareable plate between 2 people if your not a big eater. It was impressive on size for sure! The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting! Saturday morning is definitely busy but service is fast!!
We had lunch here today and I was very pleased. It was a group of 12 or so of us and we were very well taken care of. They prepared my food exactly like I asked for it to be prepared. I had the onion rings and chicken fried chicken and I don’t like them too crunchy or crispy and they cooked them perfectly. Our waitress, Lily, did an outstanding job taking care of everything we needed. Her level of customer service was excellent especially when good customer service is hard to find. I work in customer service so I know. This was my first visit but not my last.
I've been in Dallas 2 years, moved from NY. Norma's is THE BEST BREAKFAST I've had since I've been in Dallas! The food, service, atmosphere, and prices are great! I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Man, norma's cafe treats you like a family member.When you come in there. It's awesome. We were served by Rhonda because she went over and beyond the call of duty. It didn't make tipping a hardship.It made it something I wanted to do. And to tip well. The expression on her face was worth it as well as the food. Excellent portions for an excellent price. I don't normally rate five star to any business but Norma's truly earned it. I understand why the place is FULL.
